This is an antique planter stand. A Chinese, rosewood and marble jardiniere stand or lamp table, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

• Of squat proportion and profusely carved
• Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order
• Select carved stocks present deep russet hues
• Raised circular top accentuated with a rouge marble inlay

• Tasteful gadrooned edge to the top with quartered surround
• Pierced fretwork adorns the shoulder, with scrolled foliate decor
• Quartet of squat cabriole legs with superb lion paw feet
• Decorative under tier unites each leg

This is a charming antique planter stand, with a finely crafted decorative appearance. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
