This is an antique portrait bust. A French, plaster decorative female figure, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

• A fin de siècle Parisian young woman in the Art Nouveau manner
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
• Quality plaster bust with appealing colour and detail
• Realistic form, with natural forlorn facial rendition
• Small brass plaque to plinth reads 'Villanelle, Par A. Nelson'
• Indeterminate signature to underside base, appears to read 'YM'
