    A fine antique Grand Tour portrait of The Madonna and Child after Murillo mounted in its original frame, with signature on front
    and having the original trade labels on reverse.

     
    Original in the Palazzo Pitti, Florence, by J.C. Alexandre, inscribed in gold 'P: Morillo Esp/J: C: Alexandre/Florence/1834
     
    There is also a previous owners note on the back.
     
    Circa 19th century
     
    Good Antique Condition, uncleaned and unopened, the frame has some chips to the gesso, sold as seen but appears to be an easy little job - a nice item
     
    10.25 inches (26cm) height X 9.25 inches (23.5cm) width - Frame opening 5.5 inches (14cm) height X 4.25 inches (10.5cm) width approx
