This is an antique Putti jardiniere. An Italian, gilt metal and ceramic planter vase in urn form, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

• Grand scale and wonderfully classical decorations
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
• Gilt metal over ceramic urn with a rich cobalt blue ground
• Superb weight in the hand at 6.825kg (15.04 lb)
  
  
• Forlorn angels sit with their head in hands around the lobed rim
• Highly detailed relief foliate garlands adorn the front and rear fascia
• Loop handles pass through lion head masks to each side
• Standing upon a plinth foot, dressed with a protective cushion pad
