This is an antique smoker's bow. An English, ash and elm elbow or captain's chair, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1900.

• Delightful country house appeal with a classic bow form
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
• Select elm shows fine grain interest throughout
• Rich chestnut hues beam beneath a wax polish finish

• The upper rail crowned with a generous scroll back and butler's grasp
• Eleven desirable spindles rise obliquely supporting the horseshoe armrest in ash
• Skilfully formed saddle squab with pronounced seat and JK monogram to rear
• Standing upon stout baluster legs united by a double stretcher rails

This is a superb antique smoker's bow chair, with attractive colour and fine English craftsmanship. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
