    Fine Quality Well Figure Birds Eye Maple Brass Inlaid Lady’s Victorian Glove Box of traditional form and exceptional quality and generous proportions, with good rich colours and patination. Raised on four brass supports. Last half of the Nineteenth Century of English origin.

     
    The rectangular hinged lid with a decorative brass surround outside an ornate inlaid leafy decorative motif.
     
    Condition: Good condition with nice patination, original turquoise woven silk lining with very light staining. Lock is present, key does not turn, few tiny losses to inlay decoration on cover, see image.
     
    Width: 13" (33cm). Depth: 5” (12.75cm). Height: 4” (10cm).
     
    Location: Dublin City, Ireland.
