Circa 1870, Victorian marquetry inlaid figured walnut pier cabinet. The rectangular top in figured walnut with original patina, with moulded edges over a cushion frieze with boxwood inlay, crossbanding and marquetry inlay in exotic woods. The shaped door with extensive marquetry inlay opening to a velvet-lined interior. This is flanked by satinwood banded pilasters with ormolu (gold covered bronze) foliate mounts and marquetry inlay, all over a neat moulded enclosed base.
