This antique Victorian 19th century burr walnut davenport / writing desk having a wonderful figured walnut front panel with carved and scroll supports with fret work behind the front supports. The right hand side burr walnut panel opening to reveal four drawers. The top opens to reveal stationary compartment, the top fitted with leather writing surface this lifts to reveal satinwood storage compartment. The davenport is support by beautiful turned and carved feet with castors under. Circa 1850
