An Exceptionally Fine Quality English Well Figured Solid Mahogany Ladies or Gents Jewelry or Storage Box of outstanding quality and medium proportions, with decorative vacant initial plate to outer lid, flush hinges and polished brass shield form escutcheon, late 19th Century, complete with later lined interior, which is very professionally done using a mid-red heavy paper lining.

Condition: Professionally restored. Box closes firmly with no gaps. Lock and key are present and working well, nice original firm hinges, few scratches here and there, nice surface patination.
