An Exceptionally Fine Quality English Well Figured Solid Mahogany Ladies or Gents Jewelry or Storage Box outstanding quality and medium proportions, with unusual moulded brass inlay decoration, flush hinges and polished brass shield form escutcheon, first half of the 19th Century, complete with later lined interior, which is very professionally done using a mid-blue heavy paper lining.

Condition: Professionally restored. Box closes firmly with no gaps. Lock and key are present and working well, nice original firm hinges, engraved with initials FB Height: 3” (7.75cm). Width: 11.5” (29cm). Depth: 10” (25.5cm).
