Arts & Crafts Period Mahogany Umbrella & Stick Stand

An Arts & Crafts period mahogany umbrella & stick stand from around 1890-1910 and in good condition, with reeded cylindrical terminals at either end, over elongated lyre-form supports with turned spindles and on short legs, united by moulded box stretchers to the top with 2 intermediate cross-beams and similar but inverted L-shaped stretchers to the base, within which is laid the original tripartite tin-plate drip tray, this handsome piece will impress in any elegantly presented entrance hall and is sure to attract the admiring attention of your guests.

    Width 70.5cm x Depth 30.25cm (c27.75" x c12") & Height 71.5cm (c28")

This piece dates from around the turn of the 20thC, so you may expect the mature character & patina of age, together with wear & tear commensurate with normal use, including the occasional small loss to turned mouldings and minor dilapidations to the tin-plate drip tray but, otherwise, it's in good, clean & sound condition and is ready to use in your home.
