Circa 1960. A Baroque-style French marble-top kingwood commode. The serpentine pink and grey variegated marble top with a moulded fore-edge, above three serpentine fronted and shaped drawers with extensive parquetry inlay and mirror matched panels with walnut cross banding, cast brass handles and escutcheons. The angled corners with cast brass mounts and finishing on splayed toes with sabots. The bottom drawer with a shaped skirt with brass mounts. All in excellent condition.
