Circa 1870. A mid-Victorian burr walnut, ormolu mounted and inlaid bow end credenza with ebonised ogee moulded fore-edge. The apron is inlaid along the front and its sides. Either side the two curved glazed doors have double string inlay. The central door has ormolu mounts and a burr walnut quartered veneered and inlaid satinwood panel. The half round pilasters each side have ormolu sabots at the top and base. This piece stands on an enclosed plinth with small squat ebonised bun feet beneath.
