Circa 1880 Decorative French marquetry inlaid walnut secretaire-a’abbant. Surmounted by a serpentine fronted variegated pink and white marble top above a marquetry inlaid frieze with cast brass banding. The bombe secretaire front with detailed marquetry inlay drops down to reveal a fitted interior with burr elm lining and banks of inlay drawers and a felt writing surface. Beneath are 3 serpentine front drawers with rococo escutcheons. With further marquetry panels to the side and supported on cabriole feet with brass sabots.
