A very rare silver plated teapot designed by Dr Christopher Dresser for James Dixon & Sons, stamped JD & S and EP, numbered 6 ,2266 and CF. Reference: Christopher Dresser, People's Designer, 1834-1904, op.cit., Exh. Cat. No. M-096 (Jug of comparable design illustrated) .

Condition: Excellent. No general plate loss other than on the flat edge of the handle.
