We present you this captivating, and one of its kind, dresser/wet bar circa 1930. This furniture surely is one of the most unique pieces in our collection. Solid oaken wood was used in the process of manufacturing. The dresser was made in Northern Europe.
Presented piece of furniture is composed of two segments: a wet bar, in the form of a tabernacle, in the upper part, and a dresser in the lower. The one-leaf tabernacle has a stepped cornice. Furthermore, figure of a lordly man has been carved on the front; under the cornice. The whole has been framed in a woodcarving with geometrical and floral motifs. There is a shelf inside the furniture.
The second segment of presented piece of furniture is the dresser. It is composed of a sliding, carved drawer with brass fittings, and a grand, one-leaf door with a genre scene depicting a warrior fighting with a monster. There are two embossed and elegant columns on the sides, which complement the whole. A row of four shelves is visible after opening the door. The aforementioned shelves are ideal for storage of exquisite beverages. The whole has been situated on four legs. The front ones are in the shape of a flattened sphere, and the rear are in the form of cornices.
This piece of furniture, as for its age, is in very good condition. Only slight traces of careful use are visible.
We hope that the value of this furniture will be appreciated by many customers.
THE AUTHENTICITY (period of origin, type of wood used in manufacturing) has been confirmed by an experienced expert in vintage and antique furniture.
