Circa 1800, Dutch walnut dressing mirror in the form of a bureau. The mirror is contained in a shaped moulded frame, over a flap which opens to reveal an elaborate stepped and shaped interior. Below this are 3 block front drawers, and all stands on squat ogee bracket feet. Inside the top interior drawer is an inscription made out to ‘Caroline Clara Wilson’.

Georgian Antiques was founded in 1978 by John Dixon's brother Padriac in a small shop at Jocks Lodge, Meadowbank in Edinburgh, with John joining the business after finishing college in 1981.
