Circa 1850. An early Victorian mahogany framed cheval mirror. The rectangular mirror contained in a stylish mahogany frame, with the facings all curved, and a polished paneled back. The mirror is supported on a large uprights which taper and are chamfered, the mirror being held in place by a pair of stout turned knobs. The bottom of the uprights have a pair of wonderful carved ends, sitting on the two platform bases, which are braced by a polished shaped stretcher with rounded fore-edge, resting on four squat bun feet with concealed castors.
