Circa 1860 Early Victorian Scottish Mahogany open bookcase. Surmounted by moulded cornice over a figured mahogany frieze, the three upper open-bookcase sections, each with three adjustable shelves, divided and flanked by upright pilasters with carved capitals. The base with 3 convex-fronted drawers with ash drawer linings (Scottish Quality Cabinet Making) over four doors with flame mahogany panels, opening to deeper shelved bookcases. All supported on an enclosed plinth base. In excellent condition.
