Edwardian mahogany curio cabinet
This Edwardian mahogany curio cabinet was made circa 1900.
Made in a prestige workshop, where the cabinetmaker selected high-grade timber to construct this fine example of an Edwardian mahogany curio cabinet.
The plate glass lid with the mahogany frame, that has box wood stringing around the edge and delicate panels of foliate inlay. He interior is lined in material and glazing to all 4 sides.
The curio cabinet stands on tapering inlaid legs that splay at the feet, the legs are joined by a shaped platform.
