A large collection of 17 Fijian Ula or war clubs. This collection of war clubs comes from a Fiji island warrior race who made many different types of war club. Essentially these clubs were used as a close range projectile weapon. Each man would have at least one club, sometime two, strapped to their waist's. Each made from a single piece of hardwood with the traditional tavatava zig zag grip carvings. A tally of the the clubs kills were made my adding the a tooth of the victim to the head or by a notching on the handle.
