Circa 1920. A mahogany 2 door cabinet/filing cabinet by ‘Whytock & Reid of Edinburgh’, the rectangular top with a canted corner book matched flame mahogany with cross banding, beneath the top is a pull out slide and a pair of full length doors with classic ‘Whytock & Reid’ cast brass drop handles the inside is fitted out with 2 layers of hanging file racks which may be removed, beneath the doors there’s a shaped frieze and the cabinet rests on 4 classic shaped ‘Whytock & Reid’ feet.
