This dagger is in fine condition, with only some slight damage to the pommel and what looks like a factory casting flaw to the reverse of the crossguard. Undamaged trolon grip has aged to a beautiful mustard yellow. Much hand enhancing to the pommel acorn leaf decoration and to the ferrule and crossguard, both of which retain the majority of factory darkening in the background. This darkening makes the beautiful crossguard eagle particularly prominent and emphasises the detail to its breast and wing feathering. A brown leather washer remains beneath the crossguard. Bright blade is in mint condition and has the F.W. Höller trademark of a thermometer etched to the upper reverse ricasso. The detail to this etch is astounding! Scabbard has no dents or loss of plating and has a single screw to the reverse which retains the scabbard throat. Scabbard bands and rings properly attached.
