Circa 1770. A fine quality George III crossbanded mahogany chest on chest in excellent condition. Surmounted by moulded and cavetto cornice above a simple frieze, the upper section with two short and two long cock-beaded crossbanded drawers with original swan neck brass handles and oak drawers lining. The base with a moulded waist with three matching long drawers. All supported on original shaped bracket feet. With a lovely mellow colour and nice patina.
