This lovely Louis XVI style trumeau mirror is set into a tall painted wooden frame with carved sculptural decoration at the top.
Designed to sit onto a fireplace mantle, a candle would be set in front of the mirror to reflect light in dimly lit rooms. That said, this mirror could be hung to fit into any room with or without a fireplace.
We sourced this mirror from a family in Northern France would could trace the the mirror back to late 19th Century, where they believe the mirror was gifted to their ancestors as a wedding present.
We have left this mirror in completely original condition to retain the character and charm that has been enjoyed for many generations. As shown in the photographs, there is some slight damage and cracking to the frame.
We are offering free delivery on this beautiful mirror within the UK until Christmas. We also ship worldwide for very reasonable prices.
