Circa 1880. A neat sized marble topped French bombe shaped commode, serpentine top in red mottled marble with ogee moulded foredge, three serpentine drawers each profusely inlaid with mirror matched kingwood banding, rococo handles and escutcheons and a chamfered foredge. Shaped apron with elegant mount, gables bombe shaped are profusely inlaid also. The foredge on the top has a large cast and gilded mount, and the elegant legs finish with cast sabots to the front legs and slightly out swept legs to the back.
