Circa 1870. Mid Victorian walnut and marble topped metamorphic buffet. The polished top with fine moulded fore-edge, the top is hinged and opens to reveal a marble top with a pair of brackets and a fold down shelf. To the front there is a pair of shaped drawers with silvered and engraved handles of substantial size. With a pair of slow twist legs to the front with foliate carved capital and diamond section in the bottom, with 2 supported shelves, all resting on a platform base with stepped moulded fore edges and finishing on a cut out on an enclosed plinth with a small apron to the front.
