Circa 1880, an unusual French walnut window seat. With shaped, moulded and carved arms with scrolling ends and acanthus leaves, held in place by shaped uprights with similar carving. The large stuff-over seat (recently reupholstered) with needle point piped edge and velvet, over a shaped base on scrolling cabriole legs with slight raised toe with acanthus leaves, united by a shaped stretcher.
