Circa 1930. A George II style burr walnut kneehole desk. The rectangular top with book matched burr walnut and broad banding, the front with one full length drawer with elegant cast brass swan neck handles with elegant cast back plates and similar escutcheon. The knee hole with a full-length cupboard, flanked by 2 banks of three graduating drawers, all oak lined. Beneath the bottom drawer a stylish ogee moulding which follows the form of the desk, all resting on six stylish shaped bracket feet.
