Circa 1900, George II style tray top table in the form of a butlers tray. The shaped top has lifting handles on each side and canted corners on the inside. Below the top is a moulding which contains the mahogany base tray, which has open fretwork quarter brackets in each corner. The square legs have a chamfered inside and reeded outside, all standing on brass tipped castors. Very elegant piece of furniture.

Georgian Antiques was founded in 1978 by John Dixon's brother Padriac in a small shop at Jocks Lodge, Meadowbank in Edinburgh, with John joining the business after finishing college in 1981.
