Circa 1770. An early George III mahogany, Dumfries House style Chest of Drawers, the solid mahogany top with lovely flame mahogany with an elegant moulded fore-edge, with a configuration of two short over 3 graduating drawers, each with original brass swan neck handles with elegant pommels, an incised oval backplate and original escutcheons, drawer fronts are in solid mahogany and don’t have cock beadings all lined in oak, beneath the bottom drawer there is an elegant moulding and the chest rests of four stout bracket feet.See below link for further information on Dumfries House:
