Circa 1800. A late George III oak two-part dresser. The top section with a moulded cornice with a deep frieze, with a simple beaded fore edge, with three full length shelves, each with a plate groove and a moulded fore edge, the back of the top is tongued and grooved. The back rests on extended shaped supports, the base section with a configuration of 3 drawers with cupboards below. Each of the drawers has a diamond shaped wooden escutcheon in contrasting colour, and cast brass handles with pressed back plates (later), with a bank of three faux drawers in the center, all resting on bracket feet.
