Circa 1880, George III style mahogany bureau bookcase. The tall arched swan neck pediment with open fretwork sits over a moulded dentil cornice. The twin astragal glazed doors open to reveal three adjustable shelves, and the bureau has a shell and boxwood inlaid flap. It has an elaborate interior with urn decorative inlay, and has five secret compartments and inlaid drawers. It has four inlaid graduated, mahogany lined drawers with brass handles and escutcheons. All standing on bold ogee bracket feet.
