Circa late 1900s, George III style, two part pine corner cupboard. Surmounted by a “broken” pediment with fluted finials over a moulded cornice and a blind fret decorated foliate carved frieze. The arched open upper section with shaped fixed shelves and canted corners over base with twin fielded panelled doors, brass escutcheon that open to a shelved interior, all sitting on a foliate carved enclosed plinth base.

Georgian Antiques was founded in 1978 by John Dixon's brother Padriac in a small shop at Jocks Lodge, Meadowbank in Edinburgh, with John joining the business after finishing college in 1981. The business grew so rapidly, they couldn't keep up with their inventory needs. Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh.
