georgian inlaid two door robe

Circa 1810. A late George III mahogany two door linen press (with adaptions). The moulded top with flame mahogany frieze, with a pair of doors each with 2 oval panels. The panels have flame mahogany veneers, recess with crossbanding to the foredges, with a brass beading separating the two doors and a ribbed beading separating the top and bottom panels. Inside there is uninterrupted hanging, beneath the two doors there is a simple moulding and a shaped frieze on the front and sides. The wardrobe rests on French bracket feet.

Their goal has been to create a one-stop-shop where designers can complete an entire project from antique lighting to antique furniture to accessories. Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
