A late 18th to early 19th century Georgian mahogany document or deed box. The box has a hinged lid with a lock and key and a shaped brass plaque for 'Mrs E Potter'. The box has exposed dovetails and a pair of excellent gilt brass folding carrying handles. The box is in good original condition, the lock has been changed in the past.
