Circa 1830, exhibition quality, free-standing mahogany library table. The solid top is in well figured mahogany, with moulded fore edge and above a deep flame mahogany frieze that contains one faux and one real drawer either side (lined in mahogany). Standing on a trestle base with foliate carving, c-scrolls, acanthus leaves and piercing, above 4 squat trestle feet with relief carved leaves to top, open fretwork to sides and finishing on a curled toe.
