georgian style coffee table by arthur brett of norwich

Circa 1990s, Georgian style coffee table with makers label of ‘Arthur Brett of Norwich’. With a top which has rounded corners in a D-end shape in flame mahogany, with a deep cross banding (framed with boxwood and ebony). The fore-edge is finished in boxwood and beneath the top the cross-stretchers give the table stability. It has a squat, turned and tapering column leading on to 4 sabre legs with reeded tops and finishing in a brass paw and castors.

The business grew so rapidly, they couldn't keep up with their inventory needs. Their goal has been to create a one-stop-shop where designers can complete an entire project from antique lighting to antique furniture to accessories. Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
