    This is a grand antique dressing table. A Scottish, satinwood bedroom vanity stand with mirror by Taylor & Sons of Edinburgh, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1890.

    • Impressive proportion and figuring to this striking dressing table
    • Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
    • Superb satinwood stocks displaying fascinating grain interest
    • Warm biscuit hues beam beneath a quality wax polish finish
    • Appealing arrangement with a generous central mirror, framed by a pair of small drawers
    • Distinctive tri-point brackets adorn the frame of the upper drawers
    • Original mirror plate with quality bevelled edge presents a clear reflection with minimal foxing
    • Wide table top beautifully figured, with ample space for cosmetic sets and brushes
    • Spacious base with large under tier and a pair of wide drawers
    • Each drawer dressed with drop handles over pierced backplates
    • Carved brackets adorn each corner with attractive scroll detail
    • Riding upon a set of four brass castors at each corner beneath turned baluster legs
    • Maker's mark to the reverse for John Taylor and Sons, Edinburgh

    This is an exceptional antique dressing table with desirable figuring and of superior proportion for the grandest bedroom. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
