jacobean style oak and leather low stool

Circa 1900, unusual oak and leather low stool. The rectangular shaped, leather pleated top is held in place by a combination of close brass studding and larger similar studs beneath. Standing on well carved, bulbous legs with foliate designs to the top and finishing on animalistic style feet, all united by stretchers to all sides with slightly chamfered edges.
