This excellent quality tanto is 10 inches overall in length with a 6 inch blade. The steel scabbard and hilt are overplayed with pieced lacquered decoration incorporating mons and flowers one small area of damage if you look carefully please see image, the mons being repeated on the scabbard fittings. The blade still with signs of polish and is signed, a very attractive work of art.
