Circa 1825. A large George IV rectangular and brass mounted coffee table (adapted), the top in fine flame mahogany with mahogany cross banding framed by boxwood with a raised brass beading, the ends with cast brass lifting handles, the front with a pair of drawers each with stylish brass knob handles, one of the drawer is stamped ‘W.N.C Wilkinson, 14 Ludgate Hill (8860)’ The table is supported on squat trestle ends, resting on a platform base, braced by a rectangular stretcher, all supported on four carved cabriole legs with concealed castors beneath, polished on the back, making it freestanding.
