Circa 1860 with alterations. Mid-Victorian mahogany three-section open bookcase. Surmounted by an architectural cornice and a simple frieze in figured mahogany, the 3 bookcase sections each with 4 adjustable shelves are flanked and separated by simple upright pilasters and with an exposed panelled ash back.
