Circa 1920s. A quality mahogany framed sloping top show case. The framed and glazed top with two sections of glass with a brass beading separating them, the top is hinged and opens to reveal an uninterrupted interior and a long brass section for concealing the lighting, with glass on the sides and front. The cabinet has original working lock. The top sits on a mahogany base with a simple frieze all resting on four square tapering legs with rounded fronts.

Georgian Antiques was founded in 1978 by John Dixon's brother Padriac in a small shop at Jocks Lodge, Meadowbank in Edinburgh, with John joining the business after finishing college in 1981. Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh.
