Circa 1860. A quality large mid Victorian mahogany dining table. The D shaped table with a leaf holder and six original leaves, the table can be used in several combinations. The solid top with D ends with rounded corners, all 7 leaves all mellow in colour with wonderful figuring. When closed the table has an ogee shaped frieze and the table rests on five stylish bulbous turned, fluted and tapering legs finishing with a brass bezel and brown porcelain castors. The leaf-holder with panel front with carved corbels on the top and door to the side, all resting on an enclosed plinth.
