Attractive and unusually shaped Linthorpe Pottery Aesthetic Movement vase c1885. The vase is of footed tri-lobed form with lobes extending through the elongated neck to form the scalloped rim. Blue over a yellow under-glaze giving a streaky blue-green colour over the outside of the vase. Inside the neck giving a veined effect. Impressed Linthorpe Pottery mark to base and design number 1446. The vase measures 22 cm maximum height.
This vase is in very good overall condition. There is a previous very good, professionally restored area to the foot. Restoration not visible except under UV light. Otherwise in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Minor crazing as expected from Linthorpe Pottery. Please see images as these form an important part of the description.
