Circa 1890. Magnificent 19th century marquetry inlaid satinwood cheval mirror. Surmounted by a moulded cornice with fluted finials between and arched pediment with marquetry foliate inlay in exotic woods. The mirror frame is ebony inlaid with multiple bands of marquetry inlay and the oval bevel-edged mirror is in perfect condition with further marquetry’s surrounding. The base with a further panel with urns and foliate inlaid decoration. All supported on marquetry inlaid cabriole legs with hidden brass casters. In exceptional condition.
