Circa 1860. Magnificent large carved Renaissance style bevel edge mirror. Surmounted by pierced pediment with carved angels, Rococo C scrolls and acanthus foliage, the sides of the mirror with further open carvings of a flower heads and acanthus scrolls. The base with carved birds and putti figures. The original rectangular bevel edged mirror plate in excellent condition and surrounded by a naturalistic carved slip. Lovely colour and patina and all in excellent condition.
