We present you another incredible piece of furniture in our collection -- an elegant and exquisite Biedermeier dresser circa 1860. This furniture was manufactured in Scandinavian countries, and has been made in the method of veneering with mahogany onto a frame of coniferous, and deciduous tree.
The dresser has a stepped, delicately profiled molding on the corners, under which four drawers are located. The first three drawers have wavy fronts, whereas the bottommost one has been made
of a simple panel.
All the drawers are decorated with ornaments in the form of golden, circular escutcheons, which perfectly harmonize with
the gloss of mahogany wood. Furthermore, subtle carvings on the sides of the upper and the lower drawers make for the additional decorative element.
Presented dresser is supported on four legs: the rear are in the form of plinths, and the front are scroll, on small plinths.
This furniture amazes with uncommon simplicity. At the same time, the dresser is elegant and chic, and will surely make its new owner proud.
This piece of furniture, as for its age, is in very good condition. Only slight traces of careful use are visible. We hope that the value of this furniture will be appreciated by many customers.
THE AUTHENTICITY (period of origin, type of wood used in manufacturing) has been confirmed by an experienced expert in vintage and antique furniture. Antique Beauty company issues CERTIFICATE OF EXHIBITOR on presented furniture, which confirms authenticity, legal origin, the approximate date and place of the furniture manufacturing.
