Circa 1900. A stylish and unusual mahogany two tier wool winder. The top surmounted by a conical scooped cup for holding the wool, with a pair of finials each side. The wool winders supported on a pair of uprights with apertures from top to bottom for adjusting the location of the bobbins, which are held in place by a single rod with a beehive shaped cap. The bases are braced by a shaped stretcher, all resting on a pair of squat trestle feet with chamfered corners.
